Start with the CEN and post
Railway recruitment covers different post groups. Keep the CEN reference, post and CBT stage in your study notes. ALP, Technician, NTPC and other routes should not be merged simply because they appear under the Railway heading.
Separate technical from general revision
If your target includes a technical subject, keep its mistakes in a separate list. Review formulas with units and check the assumptions behind a solution. A general-awareness or arithmetic set may be useful practice, but it does not establish coverage of the technical paper.
Use science questions to check understanding
After a wrong science answer, explain the cause or relationship in your own words. Then change the example and see whether the explanation still works. If you only remember the option letter, the same concept may remain difficult when it appears in another question.
Plan beyond a written mock
Use the official notice to identify any additional skill, aptitude, physical or other selection components that apply to your post. Keep their preparation separate from your written score. Before a new practice session, decide whether you need a full-paper timing check or focused work on an error from the last attempt.
Choose your exam or open the mock-test library. For a disputed question, send support the test and question reference.
